Just How Smart is Your Dog?

The Worker Dog Toy is one of the brilliant toys made by Nina Ottosson.

The Dog Worker is the newest and possibly most versatile game from Nina Ottosson yet. Consisting of liftable pegs, sliding pegs and a rotating center disc, this is the ultimate toy. Depending on how you set up the puzzle, it can be used as a level 1, level 2 or level 3 game for your dog.

Easy (Level 1): Setup: Set aside the tophat pegs. They will not be used at this level. Hide treats under each of the removable round pegs and in each of the compartments below the rotating center disc, then let your dog try to find the treats.

Medium (Level 2): Setup: Unscrew and remove the rotating disc. The rotating disc will not be used at this level. Hide treats under each of the round and sliding pegs. Your dog must now lift and slide the pegs to find his treats.

Hard (Level 3): Setup: Using all blocks and the rotating disc. Hide treats under each of the pegs, both those that slide and those that can be lifted, as well as in the compartments underneath the rotating disc. The dog now has to spin the rotating disc to the right position so that peg after peg is exposed and can be pulled out, thereby revealing the treats.
